Tafsir Al Qur'an Surah Al Baqarah (Ayatul Kursi verse 255) [notes]

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Tafseer

Ayatul Kursi

Bismillah…

One day, the Rasul said: do you know which ayah is the best ayah?

-the Sahabah said: ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) and HIS messenger know best

-the Rasul was not satisfied, and repeated the question

-the Ubaib ibn Kab said: the greatest ayah is 2:255

-this ayah is equal to a quarter of the Quran

-the Rasul  has told us regarding the merits of Ayatul Kursi

THE MERITS OF AYATUL KURSI

1.           THE GREATEST AYAH

Ubayy b. Ka'b said: Allah's Messenger () said: O Abu' al-Mundhir, do you know the verse from the Book of Allah which, according to you, is the greatest? I said: Allah and His Apostle () know best. He again said: Abu'l-Mundhir, do you know the verse from the Book of Allah which, according to you, is the greatest? I said: Allah, there is no god but He, the Living, the Eternal. Thereupon he struck me on my breast and said: May knowledge be pleasant for you, O Abu'l-Mundhir! [Sahih Muslim, Book 4, Hadith #1768]

2.           EQUAL TO THE QUARTER OF THE HOLY QURAN

3. PROTECTS YOU FROM THE SHAITAN

-the Rasul said that the shaytan does not enter homes where it is recited

-it protects your property when you are sleeping at night

Jinns and Shatians do not come close to the house in which Ayatul Kursi is recited. (Tirmizi Al targheeb Wal Tarheeb Lilmanzari vol.2 pp.631)

4.  PROTECTS YOUR PROPERTY

-that old man was the Ibliss, who spoke the truth even though he was a compulsive liar

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle ordered me to guard the Zakat revenue of Ramadan. Then somebody came to me and started stealing of the foodstuff. I caught him and said, "I will take you to Allah's Apostle!" Then Abu Huraira described the whole narration and said that person said (to me), "(Please don't take me to Allah's Apostle and I will tell you a few words by which Allah will benefit you.) When you go to your bed, recite Ayat-al-Kursi, (2.255) for then there will be a guard from Allah who will protect you all night long, and Satan will not be able to come near you till dawn." (When the Prophet heard the story) he said (to me), "He (who came to you at night) told you the truth although he is a liar; and it was Satan." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 6, Book 61, Hadith #530]

Abu Huraira (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger () said, “If anyone recites in the morning (Al-Quran 40:1-3) and ayat al-kursi (2:255) then he is protected thereby until evening. And, if anyone recites these verses in the evening then he is protected thereby till it is morning.” (Tirmidhi 2888)

"He told you the truth although he is a liar; and it was Satan." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 6, Book 61, Hadith #530]

5. ANYONE WHO RECITES AYATUL KURSI AFTER EVERY SALAH, ONLY THAT WILL KEEP HIM FROM ENTERING JANNAH

It is narrated from Abu Umamah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah () said, "Whoever reads ayat al-kursi after every mandatory (fardh) prayer, only his death prevents his entry into Jannah.” [al-Sunan al-Kubra al-Nasa'i (9/44) No. 9848 and al-Mu’jam al-Kabir al-Tabarani (8/114) No. 7532]

THE TAFSEER OF AYATUL KURSI

Translation of Ayatul Kursi:

Allah! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists.  Allah! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. [This Verse 2:255 is called Ayat-ul-Kursi.] (Al-Baqarah 2:255)

Explanation of Ayatul Kursi:

-the first word of the ayah is ALLAH, which is the GREATEST NAME

-HIS سبحانه وتعالى name is not Jehovah

-Al ism al ahdam

-"God" is NOT HIS سبحانه وتعالى name

-HIS سبحانه وتعالى Name is ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى

-the Christians in Malaysia are taking the government to court

-for what? To say that THEY the Christians have the right to call "God," ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى

This word, ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى, cannot be corrupted - it is impossible

-but the word "god" is easily corrupted

-you can have: gods, godless

-demi-god, semi-god, god-like, god-mother, god-father

-you can say: goddess

-the word God is prone to corruption

-the Muslims say: ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى - ALLAH is a unique Name

-many Muslims are offended if you use the word "god" for ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى

-another thing that offends Muslims, if you ask a revert Muslim,

-"what was your name before you became Muslim?”

A Muslim took Shahadah and he changed his name to an Islamic name,

-and his name USED to be Peter, and you still call him Peter

-this Muslim may fight you

-you call him by his Islamic name, not the name he had when he was kaafir

-if anyone calls me by that name, we will have a serious problem,

-shaikh said to the other inmates in prison, in reference to his old kuffaar name

-you are not allowed to call the person their old name before Islam

-it is a great insult and you offend them

-also, to call Allah god is offensive

-Pickthall the translator never translated ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى to god

-he said it CANNOT be translated

-ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى is not one of his 99 Names and Attributes

-ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى is the Greatest Name - the 99 Names and Attributes describe this ONE Name: ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى

la ilaha illallah - "There is no God but ALLAH"

-that is an OKAY translation, but not a perfect translation

-many Muslims say "There is no God but God" when they are asked the meaning of la ilaha illallah

-but this translation is not perfect

-that is why it is important to LEARN Arabic yourself -

-when you are dependant on others, you put your deen into the hands of another man

ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى called HIMSELF as "HE"

-this pronoun is to signify authority

-the pronoun: HE - refers to authority

-"HE" does not mean a gender

-sometimes you read the Quran, and ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى calls himself WE

-some Christians use this as evidence to say that ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى is talking about ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى,

-Jesus and the Holy Ghost

When ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى says: WE - the WE do not refer to more than One god

-This “we” is called the WE of Majesty or Greatness

Al Hayy The Ever living

- Al Qayyum - The One who sustains all living things

-The Ever living: The first without any beginning, the last without any ending

Al Hayy: The Ever living: The first without any beginning, the last without any ending

-it means ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى can never die and everything else will die, will perish

Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish. (Ar-Rahman 55:26)

And the Face of your Lord full of Majesty and Honour will abide forever. (Ar-Rahman 55:27)

When you are asked regarding the angel who blows in trumpet: "who will take his soul?”

-the answer: ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى will take his soul and

-ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى will be the one to bring him back to life

-when the Angel Israfeel will blow into the trumpet, he himself will die

Al Hayyeveryone will die EXCEPT ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى

The Barelvis want to give the Attribute of Al Hayy to Muhammad

-they will tell you: Muhammad  is not dead; he is alive in the grave

-Nadhir Nadhir - he is omnipresent and fully aware with the minute details of the Ummah

-they will say: Muhammad was not bashr (human being), Muhammad  was Noor

-and Muhammad  did not die (Aqeedah of Barelvis in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh

Big chunks of them are also Shia, Ahmadiyyah, democrats

-when you start to eliminate the kuffar

-then perhaps only ONE to THREE percent of Pakistan have the right aqeedah

The Barelvis celebrate the Prophets birthday in their masjids

-and believe that Muhammad  can be found in millions of masjids at the same time

-because he is not restricted to time and space

-they say:  you are a wahabbi and you do not love the prophet,

-you are a traitor to the Prophet

REFUTING THE BARELVIS:

1st claim:  MUHAMMAD SAW WAS BASHR, NOT NOOR

ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) used the word "Bashr" to describe Muhammad ()

Refutation:

Say (O Muhammad ): "I am only a man like you. It has been inspired to me that your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God i.e. Allah). So, whoever hopes for the Meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord." (Al-Kahf 18:110)

2ND CLAIM:  MUHAMMAD () IS ALIVE AND CANNOT DIE

ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى said that Muhammad  and his companions will die

Refutation:

Verily, you (O Muhammad ) will die and verily, they (too) will die. (Az-Zumar 39:30)

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: Abu Bakr went out while Umar bin Al-Khattab was talking to the people. Abu Bakr said, "Sit down, O 'Umar!" But 'Umar refused to sit down. So the people came to Abu Bakr and left Umar. Abu Bakr said, "To proceed, if anyone amongst you used to worship Muhammad, then Muhammad is dead, but if (anyone of) you used to worship Allah, Then Allah is Alive and shall never die. Allah said: "Muhammad is no more than an Apostle and indeed (many) apostles have passed away before him... (till the end of the Verse)... Allah will reward to those who are thankful." (3.144) By Allah, it was as if the people never knew that Allah had revealed this Verse before till Abu Bakr recited it and all the people received it from him, and I heard everybody reciting it (then). [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 5, Book 59, Hadith #733]

When the Rasul died, Umar said: If I hear anyone saying Muhammad  is dead, I shall chop off his dead

-Muhammad () is not dead; he has gone to receive revelation from his Lord

-like Musa when he went to Mount Sinai"

Muhammad () is no more than a Messenger is and indeed (many) Messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you then turn back on your heels (as disbelievers)? And he who turns back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah, and Allah will give reward to those who are grateful. (Aali Imran 3:144)

When Abu Bakr read this ayah, Umar humbled himself and accepted the verdict that Muhammad  is dead

when Abu Bakr said that:  if anyone amongst you used to worship Muhammad, then Muhammad is dead, but if (anyone of) you used to worship Allah, then Allah is Alive and shall never die. "

All the Sahabahs agreed with the verdict

-this is the ijmaa of the Sahabahs

-if you go against the ijmaa of the Sahabahs, this is an act of kufr

-the Barelvis are the ones, who go against the ijmaa of the Sahabahs,

-they elevate Muhammad  to the level of ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى, and say he is not dead

You will inevitably follow the paths of those who came before you, handspan by handspan, cubit by cubit, until even if they entered the hole of a lizard, you will follow them.” We said, “O Messenger of Allaah, (do you mean) the Jews and Christians?” He said, “Who else?” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, al-I’tisaam bi’l-Kitaab wa’l-Sunnah, 6889; Muslim, al-‘Ilm, 6723).

"The Hour will not be established until a tribe from my ummah joins the polytheists and until a tribe from my ummah worship idols." [reported by Abu Dawood and its meaning can be found in Saheeh Muslim]

The same way the Christians build monuments over their graves to idolize their saints

-the Barelvis do the same -they are the Christians of this ummah

-we are NOT saying that there is no life in the grave:

-hadith: when one is buried, he is able to hear the footsteps of those who attended his JANAZAH

...“When an individual is placed in his grave and his companions return and he even hears their footsteps, two angels come to him, make him sit and ask: “What did you use to say regarding this man (i.e. Muhammad, )? The believer will say: “I bear testimony that he is the servant and Messenger of Allah” It will be said to him: “Look at your place in the fire of Hell, Allah has changed in stead of it a place for you in Paradise” So he will see both of his places... (Sahih al-Bukhari, no.1308 & Sahih Muslim, no. 2870)

-so, we are not saying that there is no life in the grave

-indeed, there is a life in the grave, and it is called the barzakh

-the Angels Munkar wa Nakir asks in the grave:

i.Who is your Lord,

ii.Who is your Prophet,

iii.What is your religion?

-this is an interrogation that happens in the grave and if one fails the questions - there is a punishment in grave that all hears except man and jinn.

-so, there is LIFE in the grave

-there is PUNISHMENT in the grave

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, (At-Takathur 102:1)

Ali narrated: We did not cease to doubt punishment in the grave till the surah was revealed: Your rivalry in the accumulation of wealth diverts your minds. (102:1 etc) [Tirmidhi 3366]

Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die). (At-Takathur 102:2)

When 102 was revealedevery single Sahabah accepted the reality of the punishment of the grave -

-So if there is life in the grave, where did the Barelvis, goofi Sufis, and SHIAs go wrong?

-They are the three jokers in the pack

-the answer: they did not make a difference between the life of the dunya and the life of the barzakh

-they believe that both lives are the same - but they are not the same

-where did the Khawarij go wrong? they did not make a difference between Major kufr and minor kufr

-this is why it is very important to classify knowledge:

-major and minor shirk, major and minor kufr, major and minor impurity

If you do not classify knowledge, you will become a deviant and pass dodgy, erroneous fatwas

-therefore, the Barelvis have no qualms to go to the graves and ask/beg for things

-this is Shirk and this is where we make takfir on them

-praying to the inhabitants of graves and begging them for things = SHIRK

Truly, Allah guides not him who is a liar, and a disbeliever. (Az-Zumar 39:3)

-we cannot give the excuse of ignorance to the person who worships a false deity

-to give a person the excuse of ignorance when they worship a false deity

-is called BID'AH in regard to aqeedah

-ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى told us in the Quran >>

And (remember) when your Lord brought forth from the Children of Adam, from their loins, their seed (or from Adam's loin his offspring) and made them testify as to themselves (saying): "Am I not your Lord?" They said: "Yes! We testify," lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection: "Verily, we have been unaware of this." (Al-A'raf 7:172)

ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى did not give the Christians the excuse of ignorance

Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allah is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no ilah (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilah (God -Allah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them. (Al-Ma'idah 5:73)

ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى made takfir on the Christians and ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى did NOT give them the excuse of ignorance >> 5:73

The Christians changed the doctrine of Christianityfrom monotheism to paganism

-this was at the Council of Nicea 325 AD

-the new package: Trinity

-the wicked scholars say: we do not make takfir on them because they do not know any better

-and we refute them by quoting 7:172

-their aqeedah: Muhammad  is alive in the grave; he is omnipresent and can tell you

-the minute details of what’s happening in the ummah

Refutation:

-on Judgment Day, people will come from their graves naked, uncircumcised, and thirsty

-they will rush to the Lake Fount of the Rasul, just about when they are about to drink

-the Angels will stop them

Narrated Ibn Al-Musaiyab: The companions of the Prophet () said, "Some men from my companions will come to my Lake-Fount and they will be driven away from it, and I will say, 'O Lord, my companions!' It will be said, 'You have no knowledge of what they innovated after you left: they turned apostate as renegades (reverted from Islam). [Bukhari, Vol 8, Book 76, Number 586]

So, you the Barelviswho claims Muhammad , knows what is happening in the ummah

-from beyond the grave (knows the minute details of the ummah), why is it that the angels will say:

'You have no knowledge of what they innovated after you left: they turned apostate as renegades (reverted from Islam)

-this is how pathetic the Barelvis are - they are so jahil in regard to Tauheed

-Zainab bint Jaysh was one of Rasul ALLAH’s سبحانه وتعالى most beautiful wife, when Rasulallah saw her one day, he desired her

-when the Rasool’s son Ibrahim died, The Rasul cried

-the Rasul  said: I am crying because I lost my son

Anas bin Malik reported that: The Messenger of Allah () entered the room and we accompanied him... And Ibrahim breathed his last. The eyes of Allah's Messenger () were filled with tears. Abdur Rehman Ibne Auf said: 'you are weeping, O Messenger of Allah ()'. He () replied: "Ibne Auf, This is mercy". Then he () said:  "Our eyes shed tears and our hearts are filled with grief, but we do not say anything except that by which Allah is pleased. O, Ibrahim we are sorrowful due to your separation." narration has been mentioned in Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abi Dawood and Sunan Ibne Majah:

-if the Rasul () was Noor, why did he have emotions?

Abu Talhah (RA) narrated: We complained to Allah’s Messenger () about our hunger and raising from our stomach (the garment) bared the stone each of us had tied to it. He showed that he had two stones (tied to his stomach.) [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/585) No. 2371, Bayhaqi in ‘Shu'ab al Emaan’ (13/54) No. 9943]

People fastened stones on to their stomachs because of hunger. Mohammed had not eaten longer than the other people had, so he had two stones fastened on his stomach. Shamaa-il Tirmidhi ch.50 no.5 (353) p.395

If Muhammad  was noor, why did he suffer the pangs of hunger?

Al Qayyum: The One who preserves and sustains all living things

-without ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى sending the rain, to germinate your crops, your animals will die and you will die

-when you stop paying the zakat, the Rain stops falling from the sky

"A people do not keep from giving the zakat on their wealth except that they will be kept from having rain from the sky. If it were not for the animals, it would not rain at all". (Ibn Maajah)

If you do not show mercy to the creation by paying zakat- why should the creator to mercy to you by sending the rain?

-ALLAH سبحانه وتعالى does not sleep

-Sleep is a sign of imperfection

(Al-Baqarah 2:255)

We ASWJ believe in intercession, shafa’a - we believe there are various types

1. Al shafa’a al kubra (the Major intercession)

“I am the most noble of Adam’s descendants on the Day of Resurrection. I am the first whose grave shall be opened. I am the first to offer intercession. I am the first whose intercession shall be accepted.” Sahih Muslim (4/1782)

On Judgment Daypeople will run to Adam and ask him for the intercession

-Adam will say: I cannot, for I ate from the forbidden tree

-they will go to Noah and say: you are the first messenger,

-Noah will say: I cannot, for I asked ALLAH a question, which I should not have

-they will go to Ibrahim for intercession

-Ibrahim will say: I cannot, for I told three lies

-Moses will say: I cannot, for I killed a man

-Jesus will say: I cannot, Jesus will cry out "nafsi nafsi” myself, myself

-Jesus will not mention any of his sins - he will direct the people to Prophet Muhammad

-and only Muhammad  can intercede on behalf of the ummah for their sins

Narrated By Anas: The Prophet said, "On the Day of Resurrection the Believers will assemble and say, 'Let us ask somebody to intercede for us with our Lord.' So they will go to Adam and say, 'You are the father of all the people, and Allah created you with His Own Hands, and ordered the angels to prostrate to you, and taught you the names of all things; so please intercede for us with your Lord, so that He may relieve us from this place of ours.' Adam will say, 'I am not fit for this (i.e. intercession for you).' Then Adam will remember his sin and feel ashamed thereof. He will say, 'Go to Noah, for he was the first Apostle, Allah sent to the inhabitants of the earth.' They will go to him and Noah will say: 'I am not fit for this undertaking.' He will remember his appeal to his Lord to do what he had no knowledge of, then he will feel ashamed thereof and will say, 'Go to the Khalil-r-Rahman (i.e. Abraham).' They will go to him and he will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking. Go to Moses, the slave to whom Allah spoke (directly) and gave him the Torah.' So they will go to him and he will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking.' and he will mention (his) killing a person who was not a killer, and so he will feel ashamed thereof before his Lord, and he will say, 'Go to Jesus, Allah's Slave, His Apostle and Allah's Word and a Spirit coming from Him. Jesus will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking, go to Muhammad the Slave of Allah whose past and future sins were forgiven by Allah.' So they will come to me and I will proceed till I will ask my Lord's Permission and I will be given permission. When I see my Lord, I will fall down in Prostration and He will let me remain in that state as long as He wishes and then I will be addressed.' (Muhammad!) Raise your head. Ask, and your request will be granted; say, and your saying will be listened to; intercede, and your intercession will be accepted.' I will raise my head and praise Allah with a saying (i.e. invocation) He will teach me, and then I will intercede. He will fix a limit for me (to intercede for) whom I will admit into Paradise. Then I will come back again to Allah, and when I see my Lord, the same thing will happen to me. And then I will intercede and Allah will fix a limit for me to intercede whom I will let into Paradise, then I will come back for the third time; and then I will come back for the fourth time, and will say, 'None remains in Hell but those whom the Qur'an has imprisoned (in Hell) and who have been destined to an eternal stay in Hell.' " (The compiler) Abu 'Abdullah said: 'But those whom the Qur'an has imprisoned in Hell,' refers to the Statement of Allah: "They will dwell therein forever." (16.29) [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 6, Book 60, Hadith #003]

2. The Hafiz can intercede for his parents

-Parents of the Hafiz

It was narrated that Buraydah said: “The Prophet () said: ‘Whoever reads the Qur’an, learns it and acts in accordance with it, on the Day of Resurrection his parents will be given a crown to wear whose light will be like the light of the sun, and his parents will be given garments which far surpass everything to be found in this world. They will say, “Why have we been given this to wear?” It will be said, “Because your child learned the Qur’an.”’”(Narrated by al-Haakim, 1/756)

When your child becomes Hafiz that is your ticket to paradise

-because your son will intercede for you on the Day of Judgment

3.  THE ANGELS INTERCEDED FOR JONAH: TO GIVE HIM A SECOND CHANCE.

-Allah سبحانه وتعالى accepted that dua:  - la ilaha ila Anta........

4.  THE CHILD WHO DIED BEFORE PUBERTY:

-that is your investment, you shouldn’t worry too much

-the child will ask for his/her parents

Narrated By Abu Sa'id: The women requested the Prophet (), "Please fix a day for us." So the Prophet preached to them and said, "A woman whose three children died would be screened from the Hell Fire by them," Hearing that, a woman asked, "If two died?" The Prophet replied, "Even two (would screen her from the (Hell) Fire. " And Abu Huraira added, "Those children should be below the age of puberty." [Sahih Bukhari: (2/23) Hadith 1249) & Bukhari: (2/23) Hadith #341]

-the child will ask for his/her parents

-and Allah سبحانه وتعالى will accept the intercession of the child

-and allow the parent to enter paradise

And those who believe and whose offspring follow them in Faith, to them shall We join their offspring, and We shall not decrease the reward of their deeds in anything. Every person is a pledge for that which he has earned. (At-Tur 52:21)

-this is the evidence that the scholars use to say that Allah will join you with your offspring in paradise

-those of you, who lost a child, this will be your ticket...

5.  The Quran will intercede for you on Judgment Day.

-The Quran will say "Oh Allah he stayed up at night reciting me"

-esp. Surah Baqarah and al Imran)

-those of you who can teach Quran you can charge a fee

-the Daleel for this is the following hadith

-Imam Shafi' said: it is halal to marry a woman and make the dowry Quran.

-it is also halal for you to teach people Quran and charge them money.

-when Imam Shafi’i passed the fatwa, no one has refuted the fatawa, past or present.

'Abdullah ibn 'Amr reported that the Messenger of Allah, , said: "The fast and the Qur'an are two intercessors for the servant of Allah on the Day of Resurrection. The fast will say: 'O Lord, I prevented him from his food and desires during the day. Let me intercede for him.' The Qur'an will say: 'I prevented him from sleeping at night. Let me intercede for him.' And their intercession will be accepted." [Ahmad related this hadith with a Sahih chain]

Sahl ibn Sad Saidi (RA) reported that a woman came to Allah’s Messenger () and said, “I submit myself to you.” Then, she stood for a long time. A man said, “O Messenger of Allah, marry me to her, if you do not need her.” He said, “Do you have anything to give her (by way of dower)?’ He said, “I have nothing but this lower wrapper of the body.” So, Allah’s Messenger () said, “If you give it to her then you will sit and have no lower garment on you. So, Look out for something else.” He said, “I do not find.” The Prophet () said, “Search, even if you find an iron ring.” He said, “I sought but could not find anything.” So, Allah’s Messenger asked him, “Do you have with you anything of the Qur’an?” He said, “Yes, That surah, and that surah.” So Allah’s Messenger () said, “I marry you, to her with what you have of the Qur’an.” [Sahih Bukhari (6/192) No. 5029, Sahih Muslim (2/1040) No. 1425, Sunan Tirmidhi (3/421) No. 1114, Musnad Ahmad (5/330) No. 22850, Sunan An-Nasa'i (6/113) No. 3339]

6.  Ramadhan will intercede for you on The Day of Judgment.

- It will say "Oh Allah I made her/him hungry"

- Why does Allah open up all these avenues for intercession?

- To make it easy for you to enter the Paradise

- A woman who dies in childbirth will go straight to paradise.

- The people who used to pray will be the ones who benefit from intercession.

- If you don’t pray you are not eligible for intercession.

- To ask good for others intercession.

- Only Allah سبحانه وتعالى knows what will happen to you in the hereafter

Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? (Al-Baqarah 2:255)

Jabir ibn 'Utaik reported that Allah's Messenger () said: "There are seven kinds of martyrs besides those killed in the cause of Allah: 1. a person who is killed in an epidemic, 2. a person who is drowned, 3. a person who has bed sores that cause fever and a bad cough resulting in his death, 4. a person who dies of a stomach disease, 5. a person who dies in a fire, 6. a person who dies under falling debris (in a disaster), and 7. a woman who dies during childbirth." [Ahmad, Abu Daw'ud and Nasa'i report this hadith based on sound authority]

When a person dies you say: "Shaheed Insha Allah"

- Why?  Because we don’t KNOW who will go to paradise or hell fire

- Any one who understands aqeedah properly: will always say "shaheed insha Allah”

- is Lady Diana shaheed? We don’t know!

- What did Allah tell you in Ayatul Kursi? Only Allah knows..

- Some people did secret haraam in the dunya, only he and Allah know about it

- a man could pretend to be pious, but he drinks alcohol.

And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. (Al-Baqarah 2:255)

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) knows everything about you. The minute details about you.

-Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) gave you but little knowledge.

And they ask you (O Muhammad ) concerning the Rûh (the Spirit); Say: "The Rûh (the Spirit): it is one of the things, the knowledge of which is only with my Lord. And of knowledge, you (mankind) have been given only a little." (Al-Isra 17:85)

- The bird dipped his beak in the water: Khidr told Musa:

-"mine and your knowledge is like the water that is on the bird’s beak"

-How can you brag and boast about your knowledge? Your knowledge is but a little.

A sparrow came and sat on the edge of the boat and dipped its beak unto the sea. Al-Khadir said to Moses. 'My knowledge and your knowledge and all the creation's knowledge compared to Allah's knowledge is not more than the water taken by this sparrow's beak.'...[Sahih Bukhari, Vol 6, Book 60, Hadith #251]

..but over all those endowed with knowledge is the All-Knowing (Allah). (Yusuf 12:76)

-the Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth.

His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. (Al-Baqarah 2:255)

-Allah’s Power and Authority and His Dominion extends over the heavens and the earth.

The spiritual status of the imam is the universal divine vice-gerency that is sometimes mentioned by the imams (). It is a vice-gerency pertaining to the whole of creation, by virtue of which all the atoms in the universe humble themselves before the holder of authority (imams). It is one of the essential beliefs of our Shia school that no one can attain the spiritual status of the imams, not even the cherubim or the prophets. Imam Khomeini, Islam and Revolution: Writings and Declarations of Imam Khomeini, (Berkeley: Mizaan Press, 1981)

- The Aqeedah of the Shiites: The sun the moon and the universe is subservient to the imams!!!!!

- Why do you think we call them the shady Shia?!

- People under-estimate the kufr of the Shiites.

SHIA HUJJAH: All the Imams are infallible just like the prophets. The Shia derives their religion from their immaculate (infallible) Imams" (Usool al Kafi, p. 22)

SHIA HUJJAH: “Allah often lies and does mistakes”  [Usool-al-Kafi, page 328, Yacoob Kulayni, Vol. 1]

- Khomeini and all the ayatollahs: they lie about Allah, and they elevate their imams are above Allah.

- They say their imams don’t make mistakes: but Allah makes mistakes!

- A Shia is a 5-star kaafir

- They are heretics.

- Allah tells us that He doesn’t suffer any fatigue while preserving the heavens and the earth.

- The Shia will tell you that it is the imams that are preserving the heavens and the earth!

He has subjected the sun and the moon (to continue going round)! Each running (its course) for a term appointed. He regulates all affairs, explaining the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in detail, that you may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord. (Ra'd 13:2)

- And Allah سبحانه وتعالى is the Most High and The Most Great.

And He is the Most High, the Most Great. (Al-Baqarah 2:255)

- The Christians say that Allah rested on the seventh day.

- But Allah سبحانه وتعالى said: Neither slumber nor sleep overtake Him.

- The Christians / Jews and SHIAs all blaspheme about Allah سبحانه وتعالى.

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. (Genesis 2:3) King James Version

- Because of this Allah سبحانه وتعالى said:  37:180-182

Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! (As-Saffat 37:180)

And peace be on the Messengers! (As-Saffat 37:181)

And all the praise and thanks be to Allah, Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (As-Saffat 37:182)
